monday {momday} — fancy carrier covers

We love our Baby Bjorn. We also bought the Ergo, but the Bjorn has a special place in our hearts. Our baby has loved the Bjorn since his second week. I often called the Baby Bjorn combined with an exercise ball our “magic sleep button.” Bodhi would fall into a deep sleep and stay that way for hours while we did light housework, blogged or went for walks in the early months. These days he’s too independent for much time in a carrier, but it’s still great for shopping.

I recently found adorable covers by My Little Roo for Baby Bjorn’s and other carriers on zulily for 40 percent off and had to share. With so many fun colors and patterns to choose from, I think almost any parent could find something they like and add a nice pop to your outfit. Since they are machine washable, it would save your carrier from too many times through a spin cycle. Bodhi loves to drool/suck on the edge of the Bjorn, so we have to wash it pretty frequently.

I am loving this black and white cover above, but also found several great colorful patterns. Do you use a carrier for your baby? Does he or she sleep or just observe the world? Live the fancy life!

Love the carriers…colors and patterns…but I am a “plus” momma and have never had any luck finding one that fits correctly….note….this is my sixth (and last child)…she is 2weeks old, so its not like I haven’t tried different brands…any suggestions? LOVE your blog 🙂

    • Hey Jennifer! Thanks for the comment. I will do a little research, but I know for sure that Ergo offers an extension on their carrier for plus size mommas. Downside—pretty sure you have to pay extra which is not ideal at all. I like the Ergo now that Bodhi is 5-months-old, but I know it’s not the best for infants.
