bridal fiesta

The day I met Rachel, my colleague for the past four years, I knew we would become good friends. But, I never expected to get the kind of friend Rachel is! She is the best! When you take a new job, you don’t anticipate finding someone who will certainly be a lifelong friend. It was such an added bonus! I was so excited when Rachel’s now fiance Louie proposed last June on a Caribbean Cruise! You can see a glimpse of Louie in the pinata photos above or below.

My colleagues Ashley, Sarah and I hosted a work bridal shower for Rachel last Friday afternoon with quite a few fun fiesta details! Coincidentally, Jenna of Eat Drink Pretty threw a fiesta themed bachelorette party on Friday as well. Check out her details! She is amazing at party planning!

We downloaded bunting (note that we had “bride-to-be” wrong. Apparently “novia-a-ser” is the literal translation, but isn’t really right. oops! )and cupcake topper flags from Ruffled Blog. The flags were perfect as decoration on our Tres Leches cake from Cafe Latte! They say “amor” and “love.”

Sarah and Ashley were great planning buddies. Both are incredibly creative and willing to do anything. Ashley found the pinatas and added Rachel and Louie’s engagement photos. Sarah made the flag toppers! Thanks ladies!
